The Whiskey A Go-Go, also known as the Whiskey, is probably the most well-known club on The Sunset Strip. Hmm, let's
see---bands like Van Halen, Pink Floyd, The Runaways, The Doors, The Yardbirds, Quiet Riot, Ratt, and Whitesnake started their
careers here.
However, The Whiskey A G-Go isn't just about the music. In the early 60's, they started the Go-Go dancing revolution,
which is the concept of strippers dancing in cages. The Sunset Strip is very well-known for this 'style' of dancing, and it's
what gave hair bands the 'bad label'.
